True that 32-bit has been deprecated and is no longer standard, but this didn't happen now or “recently.”
It's been at least 15 years since 64-bit PCs were sold, you're a bit late .-.

Any argument about “end of support” is unfounded; You can always run and compile 32-bit applications on a 64-bit system, so don't worry
Compiling on amd64 does not mean compiling 64-bit; it is the compilation flag that makes the difference (-m32) (e.g.Clang).

Honestly, I would be much more concerned about DirectX, given that DirectX 8 and 9 are part of an End User Time backward compatibility patch. Some already have problems running natively on Win11 without downloading backward compatibility patches.
