If you do changes in item_proto.txt on server you have to do the same on client side.. in long story short, pack client item_proto.txt and item_names.txt with dump_proto.. then put it in locale and you are done and you will see bonuses you set up on your item..

Did you pack item_proto in client too? Cause you wont see new bonuses after just editing server side item_proto..
